We coordinate inspection before starting. If asbestos is present, we work with a licensed abatement contractor before our crew enters. Safety is non-negotiable.
How long does a full gut take?
1,000 sq ft: 3–5 days. 1,500 sq ft: 5–7 days. 2,000+ sq ft: 7–10 days. Lath + plaster homes run longer than drywall.
What about the rough plumbing and electrical?
If they’re disconnected at the panels/main, we pull them. Otherwise we cap and leave for your plumber/electrician. We coordinate either way.
Do I need a demo permit?
Yes for full gut in most Austin-metro cities. We pull the permit on your behalf as part of the job.
Can you do commercial gut demolition?
Yes. Office, retail, restaurant, warehouse. We coordinate with your GC and after-hours work for occupied buildings.
