We protect grass with plywood path where equipment runs. Minor recovery may be needed where heavy traffic happened.
Concrete footings — do you pull them?
Yes, included if mentioned in your quote. We can also leave them flush-cut at grade if you’re rebuilding on the same footprint.
Will removal damage my house?
If the deck is ledgered to the house, we cut clean at the ledger and patch siding/flashing penetrations. No exposed structure left behind.
Can I keep some of the lumber?
Sure — just tell us before we start. We’ll set aside salvageable boards or beams for you.
Do I need a permit?
Most Austin-metro cities don’t require permits for residential deck removal. We’ll confirm for your jurisdiction before we quote.
