Why Use a Pickup Service Instead of DIY?
You WANT to donate — that’s why the couch is still in your garage six months later. But:

- Habitat ReStore only takes certain items and often doesn’t pick up

What We Take

What We WON’T Donate (But Will Haul as Junk)
Items charities won’t accept:
- Ripped, stained, or broken furniture
- Mattresses (charities almost never take used mattresses)
- Baby car seats or cribs (safety liability)
- Non-working appliances
- Anything with pet urine or heavy smoke damage
- Old CRT TVs (nobody wants them)
If you have a mix of donation-worthy and unusable items, no problem — we sort as we load, take the good stuff to charity, and the rest to disposal. One trip, one bill.

We collect a receipt from the charity on your behalf and text you a photo. Keep it for your tax records. Charities issue receipts based on their standard valuation methods.
How It Works
- Call or text (737) 259-6614 with a list or photos of what you want donated.
- We tell you what’s donation-worthy vs. what’s landfill-bound.
- We quote you a flat rate for pickup + delivery to the charity.
- We schedule — usually within a few days.
- Crew arrives, loads, delivers, gets receipt, sends it to you.

Pricing
Donation pickup is priced like our single-item or partial-truck rates depending on volume. Because we’re doing you a favor AND doing good, we keep donation pickup rates slightly under our standard junk rate — but it’s not “free” (we still pay drivers, fuel, and insurance).
Frequently Asked
Isn’t donation pickup free from Salvation Army?
Salvation Army offers free pickup but the schedule is 2-4 weeks out, and they only take certain items. If you can wait and your items match their list — great, use them. If you need it gone this week or you have items they won’t take — we’re the alternative.
What if I want to donate to a specific nonprofit?
Tell us the address, we deliver there. No extra charge for a specific dropoff destination within Austin metro.
Can I ride along?
If you want to (some people want to make sure their grandma’s things go somewhere meaningful), sure — you can meet us at the charity. Or trust us and get a photo receipt.
How do you decide donation vs. trash?
Rule of thumb: would a stranger buy or use this in its current condition? If yes → donation. If no → we haul as junk. We’re honest with you upfront rather than dumping bad stuff at a charity’s dock.
